Don't miss out!

So their bedroom isn't clean?
Are they playing with their toys making it even worse?

How many pictures do you have of your kids actually playing with toys that they play with EVERY day?
Not many over here! And I'm on a mission to change that!

Remember my #1 "rule" when capturing your kids... BE AT THEIR LEVEL.

Here's a comparison of which looks better and captures their 'moment' best.

standing on his bed for a different angle

And here's our Juju... doing what she LOVES to do best...

How do you do?

It's been 8 years since my 'life' began. From the day I met my husband...

found out we were expecting, getting married, kids, kids, and more kids!

Now in total we have 3 (1 boy & 2 girls) living children, 1 angel standing by, 3 miscarrages, and finally expecting out last baby (boy!) in the early winter.

I've been a wife for 7 1/2 years, a mother for 7 years, a professional photographer for 4 years, and an Army wife for 3 1/2 years.
I spent my childhood in West Palm Beach, FL area, then my family moved to Michigan. And since my husband joined the army, we've been to San Antonio, TX, El Paso, TX, and now currently near Washington D.C.

I just wanted to give a tiny bit of background on myself... but the real reason I started this blog was to hopefully help YOU get better 'everyday' pictures of your family!
I'm sure there are a few out there already, but one more doesn't hurt, right?

The idea came to me today when I had some extra time with the youngest kiddo.. 14 1/2 months old. Her name is Jaelynn. I was working on my computer (convinently located in her play room!) when she just looked so perfect and cute playing with her toys below the open window. The lighting was perfect.. how could I resist? I grabbed my camera, battery that had just charged, and a memory card. I scroutched down... and she saw me. She bolted right for me!

So I took the silly girl back to the window. But this time she wanted to stand up and look outside. She even beat up the window, making sure it was securly installed into the house ;)

Then she went back to playing with her toys.

And crawling around with this medal ribbon in her mouth and medal in her hand...

All this while the 2nd oldest took a nap on the couch <3

If I had to give just ONE tip to you for when you take pictures of your children... it would be to do it at THEIR level. It's how they see the world and it makes the pictures priceless to them at their age and size.
